Held in honor of Family Lifeline’s 140th anniversary, 140 Fest was an opportunity for the community to celebrate and support Family Lifeline and its work of strengthening the overall well-being and independence of families since 1877. Hosted by Family Lifeline Young Professionals in partnership with Hardywood Park Craft Brewery, the community came out in support of giving hope and health locally.

Featured at 140 Fest was Hardywood’s exclusive beer release of Health, Hope, & Hops**, a 9% ABV, Wallonian-Style Saison. Light and effervescent, this Belgian farmhouse ale is floral in aroma, citrusy and bright on the palate and finishes dry with a hint of peppery spice. Dry hopped with Citra hops giving it the bit of citrus aroma, Saaz hops give a hint of spiciness; overall hazy, light gold in color, citrus, and earthiness in the nose. This beer is the perfect pairing from late summer into fall, with its golden tones. A crowd favorite, it didn’t last long!

**Created and named in recognition of Family Lifeline’s anniversary of bringing health and hope to the Greater Richmond community. Special thanks to Brady Quinn and Kristi Decker for their creative input in the naming process.
