Family Lifeline is excited to announce the release of our 2015 Impact Report. This annual report reviews our progress and commitment to strengthen the overall well-being and independence of individuals and families in Central Virginia as well as highlight our impact made year-over-year.
In 2015, the organization touched over 2,800 lives across Central Virginia. Program successes from the report include:

  • 100 percent of enrolled children received all doctor recommended immunizations, the most effective means for preventing diseases and reducing future health care cost
  • 100 percent of families that received intensive in-home support remained free from child abuse and neglect
  • 86 percent of home-bound seniors felt less lonely thanks to the Visiting Volunteer Program

In our 137th year of operations, Family Lifeline continues to be a staple in the homes of individuals and families at critical times in their lives. From providing companionship to seniors through the Visiting Volunteers program or in-home education for a mother of two through the Parents as Teachers program, Family Lifeline is making a direct and immediate impact on the lives of those in need.
