A recent trip to the public library brought a mother of two children an enjoyable moment when she was able to read a story book for the first time in two years. Monique, a CHIP participant, was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and Graves’ disease.  She had been without glasses and suffering frequent headaches and dizziness. After an eye exam she was referred to LensCrafters One Sight program by her CHIP team, Mona Berry, parent educator and CeCe Cowans, RN.  Monique reports how happy she is to be able to read to her children their favorite books once again!
