Last month, Family Lifeline had the pleasure of hosting a day filled with laughter, food, friendship, and of course – games! Hands On Greater Richmond, a non profit organization dedicated to continued community involvement, generously supported this event.
Family Lifeline’s “Game Day” was attended by individuals who participate in the ElderFriends program. This program links older adults who reside within the Richmond area and are at risk for loneliness with volunteers who provide support and kinship.
The event focused on recognizing the bond of friendship that develops between the clients we serve and the volunteers that faithfully support the ElderFriends program of Family Lifeline. The day was a huge success and will be cherished memory for all who attended.
